Double Hyatt Elite Nights Through End Of Year For New Hyatt Business Card Customers

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card, launched last fall, is the strongest card for earning Hyatt elite status. Whereas the consumer World Of Hyatt Credit Card earns 2 elite nights for every $5000 in purchases on the card, the small business card actually earns 5 Tier-Qualifying night credits toward status and Milestone rewards for every $10,000 you spend in a calendar year – potentially 25% faster elite status earn.
The card’s initial bonus offer is 60,000 Bonus Points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. But as a further inducement to apply for the card now (this offer ends October 6, 2022) new cardmembers receive 2 Tier-Qualifying Night Credits for each night you stay from 8/23/22 through 12/31/22. That’s double elite qualifying nights for the last four-plus months of the year.
And they’re extending one of the temporary launch features of the card too – instead of ending December 31, 2012, you earn 2 points per dollar spent in your top three spend categories each quarter through December 21, 2023. The card doesn’t revert to double points earning on just your top two categories each quarter until the start of 2024. (The card earns 4 points per dollar on purchases with Hyatt and 2 points per dollar on fitness club and gym memberships as well.)
You’ll receive up to $100 in Hyatt statement credits – spend $50 or more at any Hyatt property and earn $50 statement credits up to two times each anniversary year.
But the real value here is in the (1) double elite qualifying nights, and (2) spend to earn elite nights. And that’s worthwhile even if you’re already on track to earn top tier Hyatt status this year.
That’s because, while Hyatt’s top tier of elite status (Globalist) is the most rewarding generally accessible elite loyalty tier of any chain in my view, you actually get rewards at every 10 elite nights earned in the program, up to 100 nights each year:

Since it’s a Chase card you’re not likely to be approved if you’ve had 5 or more new cards in the past 24 months. However since it’s a Chase business card it shouldn’t add to your 5/24 total, meaning that it may not trade off with other cards you’ll want to get.
