Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away airs Mia Anderson’s final scenes on UK screens next week.

Mia recently bowed out from Summer Bay at Australian pace, and her departure storyline is now coming up on Channel 5.

Viewers will see Mia make plans for a fresh start following the recent death of her husband Ari Parata.

As Mia continues to grieve for Ari, she’s left feeling even worse when her daughter Chloe admits that she can’t bear to be around her at the moment.

Chloe is adamant that she needs space now that Ari’s death has broken up their family unit.

Ari’s younger brother Tane steps in and tries to help, telling Mia that if she leaves Summer Bay, he’ll step up to look after Chloe.

Mia initially refuses this proposal, but after some time to think about it, she begins to realise that it could be best for everyone.

Unaware of what Mia is planning, Chloe considers moving out of the Parata residence and into a share house to get the space she needs.

Before Chloe can properly pitch this idea to her mum, she’s shocked as Mia announces her plans to leave.

Chloe considers this a step too far, but Mia points out the benefits of them both securing time apart to heal.

Chloe ultimately accepts her mother’s reasoning and it’s agreed that Mia will be leaving.

Later, the Parata family gather to present Mia with a plane ticket to New Zealand.

Tane has spoken to Nikau’s mum Gemma, who has confirmed that Mia can come and stay with her for a while.

This will also give Mia an opportunity to see Ari’s final resting place after his body was transported to New Zealand.

As Mia leaves the following day, Chloe finally gets the closure she needs and prepares to turn a new page in her life. But with Chloe still keeping secrets about her recent bad behaviour, is the drama for her really over?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 7 at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.

Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
